"Rumah makan ini sudah lama berdiri. Bahkan waktu saya masih SD kami sekeluarga suka cari sarapan pagi di sini. Walaupun namanya ada Semarang tapi rumah makan ini menyajikan menu khas Banjar Kalsel yaitu Soto Banjar, Nasi Kuning. Selain itu juga ada kue Pia Tausa dan Pia Kacang yang bisa dibeli untuk buah tangan. Kopi Hitam dan Kopi Susunya juga enak sekali. Paling pas kalau ditemani dengan Telur Setengah Matang Ayam Kampung dan Kueh Pais (Kue Nagasari khas Banjar). Rawonnya juga perlu dicoba ya....Rasanya tidak berubah setelah saya 23 tahun yang lalu kembali dan mampir di tempat ini. Dari sisi layout tidak berubah hanya ada perubahan tampak depan menggunakan keramik. Lokasinya di pinggir jalan arah ke Pasar Kebun Sayur tepat di depan Rumah Kayu komplek Ex. Pertamina yang jadi Cagar Budaya. Tempat makan yang ngangenin buat saya karena teringat memori bersama keluarga saat kami makan di sini."
